CHEMICAL/OIL SPILL RESPONSE, RECOVERY AND CLEANUP

ICREN boasts of her quick response to spills demonstrated over the years. With our state of art equipments and our team of seasoned experts and responders are able to provide prompt and effective response to chemical/oil spills both on land, swamp and offshore. Our team has extensive experience in managing oil spills along the shoreline. Our cleanup plans are carefully developed to minimize environmental impact and ensure that the cleanup process does not cause further harm to the environment.
We also specialise in the supply of dispersants, skimmers, absorbents, containment booms, spill Kits; pumps and pumping services; tanks and storage systems etc.

SOIL AND GROUNDWATER REMEDIATION

We have extensive experience in the remediation of soil and groundwater. We adopt innovative and site-specific remedial methods. We are proud to state that we are the first to conduct out a full-scale biosparging of groundwater for one of our client –SPDC.

PRODUCTION OF CONTAINMENT BOOM

In order to plan and implement key technical ways to manage oil spills, it is Icren’s intention to be able to manufacture the primary emergency response equipment and materials in the country. This is actually intended to close the gap of importation or sourcing materials externally.Our production covers a full range of booms to suit all applications and conditions, viz; fence, river, inflatable booms, absorbent booms and pads.

WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICE

Our waste management facility located in Port Harcourt is an international model and a pioneering waste treatment plant in this region. It is a model that treats all classes of hazardous waste without any adverse effect on the environment but rather the waste residual can be integrated into the earth’s soil system.

TRAINING AND PERSONNEL OUTSOURCING

We provide training on oil spill management and emergency Response. We also provide training on IMO Levels 1 and 2. This pollution control response technical training package covers requirements regulated by the IMO OPRC90 Convention and is accredited by the Nautical Institute on behalf of MCA.

MARINE ENGINEERING SERVICES

We provide our clients a complete suite of support services in design, construction, commissioning and decommissioning of offshore platforms. Our expertise includes marine system engineering, marine surveying, environmental and safety engineering, etc. 

SITE ASSESSMENT AND CHARACTERISATION

ICREN has expertise in environmental surveys both for environmental impact assessments and for remediation purposes. We understand the process of developing the geologic, hydrologic, hydrogeologic and engineering properties of a site including the soil and groundwater dynamic. With state of the art technology, we are able to identify potential sources, pathways, and receptors of contamination, and to evaluate the risks and impacts on human health and the environment.
